Haunts my Head

I’m very sad and very lonely. I’m sad at night when the day is at its end and I realize that it’s another day that I’m alone. Then I get to think that I’ll always be alone and no one will ever love me, because up to this point so far no one has. I’ve dated, I’ve had relationships, but I’m still just this alone loser. Ninety percent of my life, if not more, has been spent alone. I know if I could be given the opportunity I would make a great boyfriend for some lady… or at least I thought that. Now, I’m not too sure. I’m a fat loser, always have been. I’m boring and undesirable no woman would “crave” me. Who could blame them for that? I’m just a fat guy with nothing to offer, or at least that’s what I’ve been broken down to think. I feel like I’m doing something wrong for wanting to feel loved. Growing up I’ve always been a person people didn’t want to be around, & now that I’ve been trying to date it just feels like that even more. I tried online dating, & if get a response & the girl goes out with me I feel like they just kind of regret ever agreeing to go out with me once they’ve actually seen me in person. Anyways enough bitching for tonight, I’m going to go cry myself to sleep and hope tomorrow is a little better. Doubtful, but still need the hope.

Top Five Comics (August 22, 2012)

I know it has been awhile since I posted on here, things have been weird for me lately. I might go into that in another post, but right now we are here to talk about comics. For this week my top 5 comics are:

5. Batman, Incorporated #3 (DC Comics): Now I actually got my hands on a copy of this almost am month ago from my LCS, and I totally dug every page of it. Great art, great story, and really draws you in for the next issue (too bad for me that its still a month away). I know the delay was because of that tragic shooting in Colorado, but if DC didn't mention that I don't think I would have drawn the connection to the imagery in this issue, but we will never know since that's not the world we live in (and just because I wouldn't doesn't mean someone else wouldn't, right?). I wont go into any spoiler of the issue, but lets just say we seem some great characters return, and I still love the way Grant Morrison writes the dynamic of the Batfamily

4. Rocketeer: Cargo of Doom #1 (IDW): It's a brand new Rocketeer series, and a great time to get yourself familiar with this great character. Hopefully it follows in the styling of the last two Rocketeer series, with it being collections of short stories, but if not that's fine by me. I can always go for some high flying WWII adventures.

3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles #1 (IDW): Another IDW title on the list. I straight up love this series. It brings back so much of the nostalgic feels of being a kid watching the cartoon, but without the pander, or cringing of it not being as good as I remember it being as a kid. It honestly feels like the Turtles have grown up with me. The story has been great, and it is bring in some great plot ideas from all incarnations of the Turtles. Though this might also be me being blinded by my love for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, because as I am writing this I'm laying on my "bed" under my Ninja Turtles blanket that I've had for almost 20 years. Love it, and still is one of the most comfortable blankets I have in my house.

2. Captain America and Namor #635.1 (Marvel): Like I said "I can always go for some high flying WWII adventures." And what is more high flying WWII than a Captain America and Namor team up? Maybe teaming up with Commies and fighting Hitler, but that's only a maybe. This being a point one issue will hopefully be a great jumping on point for new readers. This title has become a this great team up book staring Cap, and coming up in a few months we get Cap teaming up with the Black Widow with art by my favorite artist Francesco Francavilla.

1. All-Star Western #12 (DC Comics): This has been consistently one of the best title from DC with their New 52 reboot last year. The creative team is solid, and some of the nicest people in the comic book industry (or at least out of the people in the comic book industry that I've met so far). Honestly I don't know what you're doing with your life if you read comics but don't read All-Star Western.
